In this post I'd like to share some of my motivations.
In the movie Happy Gilmore they talk about going to your "Happy Place".
Although this is done in the movie for laughs the truth is you must create a space and surround yourself with people and things that are going to be a positive influence.
First is the workout room which like me is work in progress.
So far it's just an old T.V., Wii and accessories, and a couple of light dumbbells.

I have plenty of room to run/jump around without anyone there to see how silly I probably look sometimes.
Adorning he walls are several motivational quotes from various sources.
You would be surprised how simply seeing it written on the wall can keep you pumped to do more.
Finally, I have to mention my music.
When I am not doing things that require the Wii's sound to be turned up I have my mp3 player playing .
Adding this simple thing took me from a 20 minute workout to a 50 minute workout.
There is just something about your favorite heart pumping tunes that makes you want to conquer the world.
