In this post I would like to address something that has always been my downfall in the past.
The most obvious part of weight loss is getting your head screwed on straight and avoiding unhealthy foods.
Now, I know everyone is different but for me one of the biggest demons I have to fight is the quick fix meal.
Here is the scenario....
It's about 12:30 in the afternoon and your out paying bills, picking up the dry cleaning, etc. and you haven't ate. You know that salad and chicken breast is at home in the fridge ready to be cooked up but you have all these quick and easy fast food places right where you are and your stomach is growling.
You try to BS yourself and say "oh, just this once won't hurt." You hit the drive through and grab the 600 plus calorie value meal and chomp down on it promising yourself you'll burn it off later.
The next thing you know your doing this day after day and you quit losing weight , those feelings of guilt and depression come back and your right back where you started.
I have decided that fast food is like crack for me.
I know it's my weakness so I avoid it like I would a drug dealer.
Living in the real world we know there are going to be times that you absolutely have to grab something on the go.
My 2 favorites...
Subways veggie sub with a side of apples and a water
Taco Bell also has a healthy menu made up mostly of fish and shrimp dishes that I eat sparingly.
Hope this post is helpful to someone and I will talk to you guys later.
